Summary of the results

Exhibitions "Existentialism. "Back to the roots", consisting of paintings and installations placed in different spaces and in different surroundings, evoked extremely different associations, building an emotional connection between the artist and the recipient of his art. The exhibition, in each of the three towns where it took place, was preceded by artistic workshops for young people and lectures for various groups of recipients, the aim of which was to familiarize the control group of project participants with various trends in modern art, as well as with the formal and content layers of Andrzej''s works. Dziubka. Complementing the above-mentioned The described activities were the opening of the original NEBB Gallery in Jabłonka and the concert of the De Press band during the opening of the exhibition in Loten. Survey research has shown that a small percentage of Polish adult viewers and participants of curatorial tours rejected this type of artistic expression as unacceptable in historic and museum spaces, describing Andrzej Dziubek''s art as incomprehensible, terrifying and too hermetic. However, over 90% of respondents in Poland and Norway, after attending the curator''s lecture, and in the case of young people and children - after the lecture and artistic activities, understood the meaning of the artist''s art and the way he expressed himself in relation to the reality surrounding us in connection with the past and tradition.
