Description

 The initiative aims to integrate and strengthen mutual relations through artistic and educational activities, culminating in the organisation of an Iceland-inspired contemporary music concert to accompany the next edition of the RAVEKJAVIK electronic music festival in Lodz. The project assumes the use of the artistic potential of the music environment of the University of Music in Lodz and institutions promoting the music of both countries. Summary of the results

The project implementation began in mid-January 2023 with a series of online meetings of people representing the institutions participating in the project.At the turn of May and June 2023, master classes and lectures with students were held by experts from Iceland and Ukraine, during which the created compositions were consulted and topics related to composing, music production, conscious shaping of a musical career, organization of events and cooperation with cultural institutions around the world.The main effect of the project, i.e. the ELECTRONICAL PASTUCH concert scheduled for the second half of June, finally took place on June 3, 2023 in the industrial space of the Łukasiewicz Institute at ul. Wólczańska 55/59. The following program was performed: Wave - Grzegorz Żyłka (Grzegorz Żyłka live electronics + video), Odlogicznenie - Miłosz Kowalewski - music, Anna Walczak - visualizations (Miłosz Kowalewski, Anna Walczak noisebox + live electronics, live video), backstutter - Michał Wiosna (Michał Wiosna live electronics), quiet space – Olga Pasek (Olga Pasek, Miłosz Kowalewski trumpet + live electronics), Grzyt violet – Jacek Partyka (tape, stereo), Melodyjki – Piotr Grzelak (Paweł Stypułkowski, Piotr Grzelak live electronics + stylophone), cycle 0 – Syntia Chojnowska (Syntia Chojnowska live electronics + video), Spotlight – Martina Fecková (Martina Fecková live electronics + video), the rest is noise – Tymoteusz Karaś-Tęcza (Tymoteusz Karaś-Tęcza live electronics).
