Description

The main objective of Initiative was for young people to strengthen their understanding of democratic values and how to act against hate speech and extremism through an international workshop at Utøya, Norway.

Summary of the results

Young and Engaged V4 Citizens Young people from the Visegrad countries (Poland, Czech Reuplic, Slovakia and Hungary) and Norway participated in a Democracy Workshop at the learning and commemoration centre at Utøya, Norway. During the four-day workshop, the participants went through a training to strengthen their understanding of democratic values, and to increase their practical capacity to counter hate speech, anti-democratic forces and extremism.
