Description

The Action will consist of activities expanding the following project task: WP5 Heating system upscaling and evaluation of its efficiency with deposited anti icing coatings- proof of concept - Task 5.3 Evaluation of anti-icing performance. The task focuses on the evaluation of anti-icing performance of the newly developed coatings also when coupled with an active de-icing system to address applications in UAVs. The task also provides for the preparation of a potential "road-to-market" of the project results and an analysis of funding sources for achieving higher TRLs. The Action will expand

Summary of the results

The Action was focused on the facilitation of the ICEMAN project results exploitation through different funding mechanisms of the Horizon Europe programme. The activities initially planned, analysis and pre-planning relevant to the “Teaming for Excellence” and “Excellence Hubs” Horizon Europe calls, were fully implemented. As a result of the Action implementation, the following results were generated:
- A basic idea of a High-Throughput Polymer Screening Laboratory and analysis of the Horizon Europe call “Teaming for Excellence” (HORIZON-WIDERA-2023-ACCESS-01-01-two-stage) and FNP’s MAB FENG call applicability for grant funding acquisition.
- List of potential partners and scope of a potential proposal to the Horizon Europe call “Excellence Hubs” (HORIZON-WIDERA-2023-ACCESS-07-01) to transfer the ICEMAN project results to the fast-growing offshore sector and facilitate Polish and Lithuanian green transition.
- TOWERS proposal submitted together with Norway, Belgium and Polish partners to Horizon Europe call “Twinning Green Deal” (HORIZON-WIDERA-2023-ACCESS-02-02).
- U_CAN proposal submitted by 21 partners (incl. 10 Ukrainian partners) to Horizon Europe call “Associating Ukrainian cities to the Climate-neutral and smart cities Mission” (HORIZON-MISS-2023-CIT-02-01).
