Description
Comobility_UA will provide an interesting and complementary results to the Comobility project. The Comobility project focus on analysis of travel behaviour and transport choices of urban citizens with the mixed method approach based on both qualitative and quantitative methods. Spatial analysis of transport accessibilityplanned by Comobility_UA would be additional element improving understanding of travel behaviour of Warsaw citizens. Summary of the results
During the implementation of the Action, new knowledge and solutions were obtained regarding the current state, problems and prospects for the development of transport systems in the cities of Kharkiv and Warsaw.
1. A comprehensive socio-geographic characterization of the cities of Warsaw and Kharkiv was carried out.
2. The general state of public transport in Kharkiv and Warsaw is characterized.
3. An analysis of transport accessibility in Kharkiv and Warsaw.
4. An analysis of transport accessibility to the preschool and secondary educational institutions in Kharkiv and Warsaw.
5. An analysis of transport accessibility of public institutions in the cities of Warsaw and Kharkiv was carried out.
6. An analysis of transport accessibility to the primary / secondary schools in the city of Warsaw.
7. Analysis of the transport accessibility of bicycle lanes in the city of Kharkiv and the city of Warsaw, the theoretical and methodological bases for the analysis of the transport accessibility of bicycle lanes are considered, the role of bicycle lanes in the organization of urban space is characterized and they are presented as an element of transport infrastructure.
8. Determining the role of the transport systems of the cities of Warsaw and Kharkiv in the national and European transport network, conducting a socio-geographical analysis of the transport systems of the cities of Kharkiv and Warsaw as subsystems and components of regional and national transport systems.
