The conference brought together participants of EEA/Norway Baltic Research Programme - Norwegian, Islandic, Estonian, Lithuanian and Latvian researchers, research administrators, POs, DPP, FMO and Implementing Agencies.

Summary of the results

At the mid-term conference, project partners of Baltic research programme, scholarships and innovation centers from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, Norway, Iceland and Croatia, as well as representatives of the programme operators and implementation agency, discussed the results achieved in the program and further opportunities for cooperation in the future. The conference and project visits were an opportunity to explore the diverse and shared experience of the research program projects, its connection with education, and to focus on future opportunities and needs.
On October 18, the participants of the conference got acquainted with various Latvian Baltic research program projects and the results achieved in them.
On October 19, the participants of the conference evaluated the knowledge gained within the program, exchanged experiences that will promote mutual learning and focus on the future of research and education, as well as discussed the results and sustainability of the programs in separate group discussions. This is an opportunity for scientists and other educational project implementers to network with representatives of other projects and delve into such important topics as the impact of science, research priorities and the continuation of research and education cooperation in other formats and programmes.
