Description

The initiative aims to promote bilateral relationships between the Latvian and Norwegian Correctional Services within the framework of the Bilateral Fund of Programme "Correctional Services". This will enable the beneficiary state to adopt the best practices of Norwegian Correctional Services in working with inmates. The initiative foresees experience exchange visits between Norway and Latvia in matters related to the content of the new Training Centre in Olaine (Latvia), ensuring it meets modern standards, and providing training for correctional services staff.
