Description

The initiative aims to enhance the capacity of the Latvian and Norwegian municipalities to assess the effectiveness of the existing climate change mitigation and sustainability activities and to compare the indicators with other municipalities by implementing the United for Smart Sustainable Cities (U4SSC) methodology that has already been successfully piloted in Alesund, Norway.

Planned activities include:

  • Online conference, U4SSC methodology masterclasses for interested Latvian and Norwegian municipal employees;
  • Riga''s U4SSC assessment, including data collection and analysis;
