Summary of the results

The initiative focused on organizing and conducting a knowledge exchange trip to Norway. In July 2023, planning activities included agreeing on trip dates, signing a cooperation agreement with the partner organization, selecting participants, booking flights and accommodation, and preparing a presentation on the association’s work. A publication about the planned visit and expected impacts was also shared.

The exchange trip took place from August 22–25, 2023, involving three mentors and a translator. Over four days, they participated in presentations, explored best practices from Norwegian mentoring organizations, and discussed future cooperation. Visits to youth organizations and centers in Oslo provided practical insights on improving mentoring methods and civic participation.

Key results include learning about the partner organization’s operations, fostering networking opportunities, acquiring new methods for youth mentoring, improving organizational efficiency, and gaining insights on diversifying funding sources. The trip also improved the mentors'' professional skills and led to the preparation of a summary of lessons learned. Overall, the initiative strengthened the association''s capacity and laid the groundwork for future collaborations and service development. Completion date: August 25, 2023.
