Description

Bilateral cooperation piloting in the organization of an online auction

Summary of the results

Development of an Online Store:

An integrated e-commerce platform was created within the NGO’s existing website, allowing for regular product listings, sales, and future online auctions.

Pilot Online Auction:

The online store was launched with a pilot auction via Zoom, publicized through media channels, social platforms, and regional TV.

Feedback and Continuous Improvement:

A post-auction review with the Icelandic partner identified key improvements needed: better video quality, lighting, sound, and longer promotional periods. Suggestions included creating product stories using videos.

Collaborative Efforts and Outcomes:

Icelandic partners provided advice on audience engagement and donation habits. Coordination included a Zoom meeting prior to the auction.

Capacity Building and Awareness:

The initiative enhanced communication skills, public visibility, and engagement with diverse groups. Results were shared with stakeholders and featured in local media.

Impact and Legacy:

The initiative delivered an operational online store and a successful pilot auction. It offers a sustainable model for future fundraising and supports the NGO’s long-term goals.
