The Research Council of Lithuania as the Programme Operator implemented a bilateral initiative: „Travel grant for Lithuanian researchers to come to Programme matchmaking event in Estonia“. At the international launching and matchmaking event on 25 October 2018 in Tallinn, the objectives of the Baltic Research Programme were introduced, and the researchers had the opportunity to network with potential consortium partners. Summary of the results

The Research Council of Lithuania as a Programme Operator of Baltic Research Programme implemented a bilateral initiative: „Travel grant for Lithuanian researchers to come to Programme matchmaking event in Estonia“. This international launching and matchmaking event was held on 25 October 2018 in Tallinn. The objectives of the Baltic Research Programme in Estonia were introduced, and the researchers had the opportunity to network with potential consortium partners. For this event Lithuanian research institutions were asked to delegate one or two researchers to come to this event (covering tickets, accommodation and daily allowance ). It was expected to get more than 30 applications for travel grant. 35 applications were submitted for travel grant and 34 of them were successfully covered after administrative evaluation. According to event feedbacks from participants the event was informative, fruitful and very well organized. Researchers made successful consortiums for further participating in Programme.
