The 4th International Public Mental Health Conference, titled "Community Based Public Mental Health Interventions,"  The event will adopt a hybrid format, combining both in-person and remote participation, with live translation services provided.


The primary objective of this initiative is to highlight the strong bilateral relationship between Lithuania and donor countries, especially Norway, within the framework of the Health Programme and to present the results of the Health programme and the bilateral initiatives implemented together with donor project partners. Summary of the results

The 4th International Public Mental Health Conference "Community Mental Health Interventions" took place in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Experts from national and international organizations, scientists, and health policymakers shared their insights about the current issues of mental health in society, families, adolescents, and children. Practical examples of implementation of mental health interventions in Lithuania were presented and discussed.
Adopting the good experience of foreign countries, different projects aimed at strengthening and prevention of mental health, with special attention to the well-being of children, youth and their families. Family visitation, emotional well-being advisers, youth-friendly health care, as well as the Incredible Years program, Multidimensional Family therapy services have been provided in Lithuanian municipalities by implementing Programme "Health" since 2020. The progress of the program, projects and future perspectives were presented at the conference.
More than 190 participants attended the conference live, and more than 400 participants watched the live webcast of the conference.
