Description

Cultural routes in Lithuania lack systematic, coordinated approach, and the attempts to set cultural routes lack sustainability and vitality. It is observed that there is absence of skills in terms of combining both tangible and intangible heritage, common vision and unity between the local groups of interest. Summary of the results

Events on the culture heritage communication and sustainability of cultural routes in Lithuania organized: conference (07/10/2019), seminar (07/10/2019) and workshop (12/11/2019). 188 participant (representatives of cultural routes interest groups) from Lithuania and Norway attended the events. The information about the events was widely spread - representatives from all 60 Lithuanian municipalities were invited to participate in the events.

Cultural routes revitalization guidelines (digital) have been produced in Lithuanian and English and are currently being disseminated through 91 channels (websites and Facebook) in Lithuania and Norway. Please see https://lrkm.lrv.lt/lt/veikla/kulturos-keliai and https://www.noku.no/ressursbank/guidelines-for-/ for the guidelines.

The initiative is considered to be successful, as it received many calls from various districts of Lithuania, seeking to share their cultural path ideas. On the basis of the initiative, the Lithuanian cultural routes certification system was encouraged, which was not planned at the beginning of the project.
