Description
The conference will include a series of lectures and panel discussions aimed at improving the work of the Croatian Probation Service. Representatives of the Croatian and Norwegian Probation Service will participate in the conference, while representatives of other European countries are also expected to participate. Stakeholders of the Croatian Probation Service (judiciary, social welfare, academic community, NGOs, etc.) will also attend. The conference will cover the following topics: professional work of probation services, probation measures and sanctions, electronic surveillance
Summary of the results
Exchange of knowledge and experiences of the Norwegian and Croatian Probation Service was facilitated by the conference. Additional value was added by the participation of probation experts from other European countries, including representatives of Confederation of European Probation. The event contributed to improving the quality of probation in Croatia. Commemorative brochure about 10 years of Croatian probation service was printed.
