Description

The proposed project seeks to bridge the maritime traditions of Norway and Greece and encourage collaboration to revive and sustain the art of traditional wooden boat building and as a consequence repair, aiming at making the choice of a wooden boat a valuable option for prospective buyers.

Deliverables:

1. Mapping of traditional boats, materials, building techniques and methods, study of best practices in Norway and Greece
2. Rising public awareness of the qualities of traditional boats and addressing the shortage of skilled craftsmen. We need to address the shortage of skilled craftsmen
