Description

The general goal of this project is to educate, promote and activate health and social care practitioners in the use of distance-spanning technologies with the goal of providing equal treatment opportunities for everyone. In other words, the goal of this project is to have health and social care practitioners use more distance-spanning technologies in their daily work. If there is something stopping it, solution will be found – be it technical, systemic, political or legislative. Ideally both countries would have a smooth process of supporting the use of these technologies in health and social

Summary of the results

Workshops and international visits with the goal of network building and exchange of experience between Norway and Estonia were organised: 

1) 3 international visits (1 in Estonia, 1 in Norway, 1 virtual). Last visit “Distance spanning technologies - good examples and cooperation”

2) 3 workshops (all in hybrid/virtual format). Last workshop “Lessons learnt in implementing remote services: examples from Estonia and Norway” https://connectedhealth.ee/lessons-learnt-in-implementing-remote-services-examples-from-estonia-and-norway/

23 organisations took part of the events (10 Norway, 13 Estonia).

26 different distance-spanning technologies organisations were introduced.
