Summary of the results

The seminar was held on 27th of November 2017.

The ad-hoc seminar in Brussels, was organized by the Estonian Center of Eastern Partnership (ECEAP) on the eve of the 2017 Eastern Partnership Summit to give voice to media professionals from the „front line“ of information warfare in Ukraine to showcase realities and present practical needs for improvement of media landscape in Ukraine. Representatives from EU member states, EEA/EFTA countries and European Institutions had the opportunity to hear open and straightforward analysis of the situation in Ukraine directly from the people involved in strategic communication and media challenges.

Public and political support to European integration in Ukraine and Ukraine’s stable European course is of vast importance for overall stability in Europe, particularly in security and economic dimensions.
About 80 participants from European Commision structures, embassies, thinktanks and media attended the event.

The presentations by Ukrainian team of experts showed from practical experience how crucial is efficient, well targeted pro-European strategic communication for people in Ukraine and what can European (including non-EU members) countries do to improve it.

The final payment to the project promoter was made on 4th of February 2019.
