Summary of the results

The joint award-winning campaign (a collaboration between the labour inspectorates of Estonia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Romania, and Norway) named “Know Your Rights” was launched with extensive advertising in September 2020, September 2021, winter and spring 2022.

Additionally the domestic (Estonian) campaign focusing on employees’ rights was launched (summer 2023). The goal was to increase knowledge about rights, threats, illegal actions, human trafficking among target audience. For the campaign Estonia used large digital billboards next to roads and buss stops, radio messages, printed leaflets and banners on newspaper sites. Based on the estimation and the results, the social media campaign was very successful.

6 (instead of initially planned 5) annual learning seminars were held to discuss what has been done and to discuss plans for the next year.
2 (instead of initially planned 1) tripartite seminars were held.
7 (instead of initially planned 6) staff exchanges for learning were organised.

3 staff exchanges for assistance were organised. In 2023 Norway initiated 3 cases to cooperate. All three inspections took place in the end of the year 2023.
All three cases involved a lot of prework but concluded as successful inspections.
