Description
The initiative shall allow eligible applicants to meet with Norwegian potential partners. The aim is to establish contacts and develop possible future cooperation within each pre-defined project in the area of correctional system. During the Roundtable, all participants shall be informed about the content and progress of the Justice programme, the content of each of the pre-defined project and, last but not least, the introduction of the Norwegian colleagues especially their specialization in the justice area. Furthermore the discussion shall be conducted with the aim of exchanging experience
Summary of the results
The Roundtable was organized by the Ministry of Finance as a Programme Operator of the Justice programme on 22. – 23. May 2018. The purpose of this ambition was to create a space for meeting of representatives of potential bilateral Norwegian partners and representatives of pre-defined projects. In total, 24 participants took part in this ambition – nine Norwegian participants and 15 Czech representatives were involved and had a chance to share their experiences and ideas. The greatest benefit could be seen in the possibility of personal consultations between individual workshop participants. The organization of the round table could be considered as an important initiating event, which helped the representatives of predefined projects in their efforts of the preparation of both content and financial aspects of individual projects.
