Summary of the results

Bilateral cooperation within the framework of the 4th meeting of the SYNERGY Network against Domestic and Gender-based Violence platform further strengthened the cooperation of the Czech Republic (Ministry of Finance and the Office of the Government) and Norway (Ministry of Justice and Public Security) within the implementation of programme area 22 - Domestic and gender-based violence. At the same time, it provided another opportunity for the representatives of the participating host countries to network both with the representatives of Norway who attended the meeting and with each other. Shared results, knowledge and mutual understanding then led to synergies across countries, priority sectors and programme areas and increased the impact of EEA and Norwegian funds in preventing and addressing these negative social phenomena associated with domestic and gender-based violence. At the same time, the meeting in Prague clearly provided a positive impulse for the continuation of cooperation within the SYNERGY platform with the assumption of further meetings during the current programming period of the EEA and the Norwegian Funds.
