Description

The aim of the initiative is to establish and develop bilateral cooperation between the Czech Republic and Norway in the development of knowledge in the field of forensic expertise and new methods of investigation.

The initiative is fully in line with the overall CZ-Home Affairs Programme´s objective "Improved crime prevention and investigation" as it establishes and supports Norwegian-Czech cooperation in the field of forensic science. High quality and capacity of forensic examinations is an invaluable contribution to effective law enforcement. Addressing both domestic and European crime

Summary of the results

The aim was to establish cooperation between specialized workplaces, network participants and gain an overview of the potential scope of knowledge transfer and/or the needs of the beneficiaries in the area of ​​training, equipment, routines, etc. To provide information to NCIS staff on the working methods on the Czech side and on the technical equipment. The exchange of information was positively received and will certainly be of great benefit to both parties involved in the future.
