Description
In order to raise awareness about the Czech Culture Programme among Norwegian cultural and artistic operators, the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic organized an information seminar in cooperation with the Arts Council Norway, the Arts and
Theatre Institute and the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic. The seminar was open to all potential project partners from Norway in the area of contemporary art. The aim of the seminar was to inform Norwegian cultural operators interested in
cooperation with the Czech Republic about the supported areas including a general overview of the
Summary of the results
Thanks to the cooperation with the donor state programme partner the Arts Council Norway, an information seminar was organized for cultural operators from Norway interested in cooperation with the Czech Republic. The seminar was held in Oslo, Norway on 14 February 2019.
Approximately 50 participants from Norway received information about the supported areas including a general overview of the situation in the Czech Republic, the timeline of planned open calls and the possibilities for establishing cooperation with Czech artists and Czech cultural entities. 5 experts from various fields of contemporary art and 4 representatives of the Programme Operator and Programme Partner from the Czech Republic took part.
