Description

The purpose of the 3-day long bilateral meeting with partners in Iceland is to clarify particular involvement in planned project and analyse whether partners´ best practice can be appliced in the Czech Republic conditions. The aim is to discuss specific conditions of collaboration and partners involvement (Application form preparation, realization of the project and activities through sustainability period, time framework and logistics and financial conditions). Illustrative demonstration and visiting expositions directly at partners premises is inspiration for planned project.

Summary of the results

The following business bilateral meetings with potential partners in Iceland took place according to the plan: familly craft brewery Segull 67 and the Herring Era Museum in Siglufjörður and the Industrial Museumin Akureyri. The aim of the trip was a personal meeting with three partner organizations, acquaintance with their projects, presentation of the applicant''s project and also discussion of possible cooperation within the EEA project, which will relate to protecting, restoring and presenting the brewery''s cultural monument with a sustainable business strategy.

Futher cooperation and possible involment of the bilateral partners in the prepared project within the open call for proposals of projects focusing on revitalization of Czech cultural heritage is planned. The meeting was consider beneficial, further steps with specification will follow.
