Description

The aim of the initiative is to establish the bilateral cooperation between the Czech and the Norwegian entities in the field of skiing. The Czech side is represented by the applicant (local action group Cínovecko), which is active in the organisation of sports activities in the Ore Mountains region, and the Ski Association of the Czech Republic. The Norwegian counterparts are the bilateral partner Madshus AS, the Sports Laboratory Holmenkollen Treningslab and three sports clubs. Summary of the results

The goal of the initiative was to establish new personal contacts and verify of cooperation based on the transfer of experience and knowledge. The goal was achieved. The project partner helped mediate contacts with subjects involved in the organization and support of ski sports in Norway. Both the project applicant and the project partner actively participated in all project activities. All 5 collaborating organizations from the Czech Republic and Norway were also actively involved and participated in both the planning and implementation of the initiative''s activities. All organizations joined the initiative as planned when the project application was submitted. Cooperation with all subjects was at an excellent level and cooperation was set for the future.

The mutual exchange of knowledge and experience contributed to increasing awareness and understanding between Norway and the Czech Republic, to strengthening bilateral cooperation and to the creation of new bilateral partnerships. The knowledge gained included topics such as successful models of sports federations, associations, clubs and teams, verified examples of good practice from the education area in connection with skiing sports and sports in general, cooperation between organizations and parents of children, ecological approach in skiing, etc. Involved organizations will use the knowledge gained in their activities for development in the field of sports and education after the end of the project.
