Summary of the results

Peer learning and meetings took place. Thanks to the initiative, valuable feedback on the activities and processes according to which the Point One business incubator operates was obtained. One of the great expectations was gaining experience from the Norwegian partner in ensuring financial independence in the coming years. However, a series of consultations and discussions confirmed that the most suitable path appears to be separating the incubator from the university. However, this fact also has significant cons, as the experience, equipment, facilities, and expertise are closely linked to the university. Separating the incubator from the university is not currently a topic, although we know this trend prevails abroad. On the other hand, Norwegian partners also stated that the funding of their activities is tied to the state budget. Therefore, we focused primarily on steps that will support the position of the Point One incubator at the university and increase its popularity, especially in the interest of scientists. For example, one of the outputs of the joint consultations is the booster program. We consider the realization of the startup competition in the presence of the Norwegian partner, who sat on the jury, a great success.
