Description
The objective of this initiative is to get essential experience from the Norwegian (UNESCO) Magma Geopark for the Geopark Barandien to aspire for a UNESCO Global Geopark title.
During two reciprocal study tours and workshops, geoparks'' sites, schools and museums shall be visited. The main focus shall be transfer of experience in GEOfood principles, tourism, geopark management and activities for schools (incl. phone apps).
Future project-based bilateral cooperation shall be discussed within the seminar in Norway. Other participation is expected (interested public, schools, mayors, experts)
