Description

The initiative aims at exchange of experience and best/worst-practice inspiration/transfer between the experts in the field of transport from Zlin Region and Oslo/Viken region. Secondly, development of human resources thanks to the foreign study trip of Czech experts to Norway will lead to mutual inspiration between partners. During the 3-day long study trip, the set of meetings and round table discussions between the partners will be realized.

Summary of the results

The main achievement was great deal of inspiration on how the public transport works, what are the new approaches, what the good practices look like, what are the challenges in transport improvements. 
A lots of inspiration was gained and transmitted, best practices shown and recommendations were made; the human resources of people involve were developed and through the participants, other employees of transport organizations were enriched.

The great result of this bilateral cooperation was that professionals working in the field of transport, public transport, road maintenance and road had a change to meet, to show each other, how they work and what they achieved. They were inspiring each other, and this surely developed the human resources mutually. Also new areas of mutual interest was found so the bilateral cooperation can continue even after this study trip. 
Mutual exchange of experience between the transport ensures deepening and enlarging the work within the themes and provides the opportunity for professionals’ outputs usable for a new set of activities of the transport organizations – especially in the field of strategic planning and improvement of the public transport, making it more users friendly to support its grater usage by wide public. 

The Czech experts will spread their newly gained knowledge in their institutions and among their colleagues, to influence the thinking of people and to gain support for further changes.
