Summary of the results
DOC.STREAM presentation took place online during Ji.hlava IDFF 2020 and introduced 3 Czech and 2 Norwegian documentary projects in different stages of production to professional public. This occasion helped the projects and, opened doors to possible cooperation with sales agents, distribution companies etc. (which was one of the planned goals of the initiative). Participants were given access to industry content of the online festival and could attend masterclasses, presentations, discussions and matchmaking meetings, which is important for their professional development. The Roma research resulted in creation of a database of Roma film professionals and their works - either contemporary or historic. The database will act as a base for potential future Ji.hlava IDFF programme section and other research by different cultural organisations who would need it.
