Description

The objective of the initiative was deepening the research cooperation of the applicant and partner and a preparation of joint research project which was to be submitted in the CZ-RESEARCH open call. The study visit of 3 experts to Oslo was a follow-up to the meeting in Prague in January 2019 supported in the 1st BF Open Call (CZ-BI018). The outcome of the initiative should be a joint review with the basic parameters of the planned research, which will serve for further communication and presentation of the joint project to the professional and general public.

Summary of the results

The initiative was implemented by two partners - UK FTVS (Prague) and NSSS (Oslo). The NSSS organized an invitation of representatives of three representatives of the UK FTVS from the Czech Republic to Oslo. Both partners fulfilled their role in joint meetings and shared further tasks for further preparation of the joint project. During the visit, key discussions were held on the forthcoming preparation of a joint application of the research project to the open call for the KAPPA (CZ-Research) program. The basis for a future joint review was mutually agreed. The hosts presented the university and the relevant departments, including meetings with the faculty management and other specific experts. All planned activities were carried out and both partners were able to link their expertise within the chosen research theme. The partners agreed on the need for subsequent discussions on specifying the specific objectives of the planned project and involving others in its preparation.
