Description

Within the initiative, an international site-specific-art and land-art workshop and a festival were organized in Ralsko Geopark. These actions opened floor for exchange of experience, knowledge and good practice and a discussion in the field of using of various artistic approaches to build a relationship between the man and the landscape. As a part of the initiative, a workshop “Geoparks, Identity and Art“ was organized.

Summary of the results

The following activities very delivered: (1) International Site-Specific-Art and Land-Art Workshop in Ralsko National Geopark in Ralsko Geopark (M 2019). Artists from Norway, Iceland and the Czech Republic attended the workshop. (2) Workshop ‘Geoparks, Identity and Art'' and Vernissage - took place in May 2019 and opened a room for sharing of the best practice of our partners from Norway and Iceland followed by a fruitful discussion on role of the art for geoparks. The role and potential of the new technologies for geoparks was presented by the experts from Magma Geopark. The partners from Iceland shared their best-practice in landscape and architecture approaches in the Icelandic landscape. The workshop was followed by the Vernissage of the photos. Presentations of the participants are stored at https://www.landart-ralsko.com/workshop/. (3) Land-Art Festival in Ralsko Geopark - May 2019 - the programme of the festival offered presentation of the land-art works which were developed during the international workshop, various wokrshops, performances and discussions with the artists and the partners. The festival attracted about 830 visitors and it fully reached expected goal. (4) Mobile application and pdf documents in CZ, ENG and DE languages were created.
