Description
The most important result is the development of cooperation activities between Norwegian Folkemuseum and Technical Museum in Brno in fire protection. Examples of good practice that will be disseminated through promoter''s educational activities are organization of fire protection and conservation in museums and galleries. Another expected results are the establishment of cooperation with the Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology and the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design, especially in the field of long term preservation of museum collections. Summary of the results
The main result of the implemented initiative is the common preparation work on the "Cabinet of Security" project of TMB in Brno. Test fire polygon, similar to the Norwegian “If” in Hobol is an integral part of the "Cabinet of Security" project in TMB.
Another bilateral outcome is the establishment of cooperation between TMB and the Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology. This cooperation would cover preventive conservation and long term preservation of museum collections.
Examples of Norwegian good practice in organization of fire protection and conservation in museums and galleries are disseminated through TMB''s educational activities.
Cooperation on the preparation of the project application to EEA /No Grants 2014 – 2021 has also been agreed.
