The activities of this first part (LI hosted the CZ students) took place one week in Liechtenstein (11.-15.9.2018), followed by one week in the Czech Republic – see the BI002 reported separately. In Liechtenstein the programme entailed joint class attendance, a bus tour through Liechtenstein, a Hicking trip in the Liechtenstein mountains, the lesson and the workshop about the common history of the Czech Republic and Liechtenstein, a tour and a workshop in the Art Museum Liechtenstein, a visit to the Liechtenstein Parliament and a farewell evening. During this visit the pupils of visited Palais Liechtenstein, had a guided city tour and a reception at the Liechtenstein Embassy in Vienna. The school exchange established contacts and friendships between the young people from both countries. This was further strengthened by education on the common history of the two countries. The Czech students could also improve their German skills thanks to the joint class attendance in Liechtenstein.
