Description

Reconstruction of the State and Elektronisk Forpost Norge (EFN) will establish a partnership to share good practices and to support each other''s advocacy and awareness-raising activities in the field of digital rights. The project aims to strengthen the harmonization of the implementation of the Digital Services Act (DSA). The DSA should modernize the outdated legal framework at EU level and ensure stronger protection for users of digital services. Together with EFN, we want to contribute to a stronger harmonization of the DSA implementation in Czechia and Norway.

Summary of the results

We have succeeded in meeting our objectives, as follows:
1. Strengthening the harmonization of the DSA implementation process in the Czech Republic and NO by the responsible authorities: we prepared recommendations for the responsible authorities in both countries, and the NO partners were strongly inspired by the Czech ones (or the international ones, which we prepared earlier in the international network). The Czech responsible authorities have reflected the recommendations and it is clear from the public outputs and their preparation for the implementation of the DSA that they are largely following them. Implementation in NO is somewhat delayed compared to the Czech Republic, but the basis for harmonisation exists.
2. Establishing long-term cooperation between experts from the Czech Republic and NO.
3. Involvement of experts from NO in the international network of experts coordinated by RS.
4. Expanding public awareness of critical aspects of DSA: It was done, we led a campaign on the topic on the social networks of Reconstruction of the State, we have outputs on the website of Reconstruction of the State, Svobodaslovaonline.cz and in the media. There were also public outputs from the roundtable.
