The purpose of this project is to expand knowledge of the organisation Freya z.s. within fields relating to sexuality and sexual violence by aim of a method that is widely used by Verdal commune.PLISSIT method embraces a unique approach towards sexuality of people with disabilities. Thanks to the project a group of 5 people will travel to Norway, where they will gather more information about the method and learn how to implement it in practice. In paralell they will also visit other organisations that directly work with sexuality within the same target group.

Summary of the results

Freya learned about methods that can be applied in the systematic introduction of work with sexuality in the Czech Republic. They were introduced the Verdal model of sexual health and how to create a Sexuality-friendly Environment. All methods are inspiring and Freya have implemented them in their education system and overall approach to work with sexuality and relationships in vulnerable groups.
