Description
A working visit and partners` meetings in Norway under Programme area 19, by invitation of the Donor programme partner, the Directorate of the Norwegian Correctional Service (KDI).
The activities include visits to prison facilities and organization of high level meetings in the area of the correctional services.
The topic is directly related to the preparation of the programme and the project planning. Representatives of the Norwegian project-level partners are also involved – local structures within the KDI.
Summary of the results
Officers from Solholmen Halfway House (at Kristiansand Prison), Agder Regional Probation Office and Åna Prison attended the meeting at the head quarter of KDI in Lillestrøm.
The Norwegian partners at both programme and project level and Bulgarian project promoters of the three pre-defined projects in PA 19 discussed and clarified the issues of the partnership. A corresponding time schedule for having joint meeting was agreed, and partnership agreements outlined.
An important meeting was held in Oslo between the State Secretary of the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and Public Security and the Head of the PO, the Bulgarian vice-minister of justice.
