Description

The initiative includes activities and topics identified as particularly significant for the General Labour Inspectorate Executive Agency (GLI EA) and the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority (NLI). It aims to promote decent working conditions for employees, fair competition for companies and sustainable welfare systems. This includes the implementation of a joint information campaign to increase the knowledge about the rules and regulations on work in Norway among workers, employers and job intermediaries. To improve the knowledge and professional skills of the Bulgarian and Norwegian

Summary of the results

More than 500 participants (experts from the both partner institutions, also from Lithuania, Estonia and Romania) have been involved in all the project activities. The Bulgarian workers and employers as a target group have been reached through the information activities of the project – campaigns, spreading of guidelines and videos developed, risk-assessment tool on GLI EA website, press releases. The joint inspections and work meetings brought people and institutions together and created space for improved knowledge and mutual understanding between individuals and institutions. Sustainable cooperation between General Labour Inspectorate Executive Agency and Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority has been established in relation to common current and future social initiatives and communication campaign activities for improved knowledge of decent work of the workers and the employers in both countries Bulgaria and Norway.
