Description
One of the main priorities in Sered is to rescue the Mansion and park for future generations. The project conserves and modifies a part of the mansion and revitalises the castle park. The City of Sereď will carry out the reconstruction works on the damaged interior and exterior of the mansion in order to open it for public access. It will attract the tourists and visitors of the town and its surrounding. The revitalised park and the gradually reconstructed mansion will bring the light on the history of the mansion in the town related to the wider context of the history of Slovakia and Europe. The results and outputs of the project will provide a public platform for meetings, dialogue, cultural events, promotion of tourism and possibilities for presentation of the town on an international level. The most important target group within the project is the general public of the region and of the Slovak Republic. The partnership with the Civil Association Water Castle in Sered and the House of Culture Sered will contribute to the reaching of the projects objectives.
