Description

The Slovenian scholarship fund project will significantly contribute to the College of Nursings' objectives and priorities of the study programme, especially with regard to the comparison of the educational process in clinical environments, learning objectives and competencies. The project will also strengthen the cooperation with Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences, since the institutions have been cooperating in other forms of international activities (eg. WBL seminar: Developing Proposals for the Master project/thesis/capstone and the Nursing and Allied Professions” – cooperation of five partner schools from five partner states). New knowledge and experiences that teachers and staff will receive in the context of international exchanges have a significant influence on the institutional development. These activities introduce increasingly influential forms of cooperation within the European environment. When considering long-term effects for the College of Nursing institutional involvement in international forms of cooperation leads to the achievement of excellence.

Summary of project results

The project NFM-NFM-24/13 was needed for to expend, strengthen and empower the collaboration between Faculty of Health Care Jesenice and Department of Nursing at the Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences – HiOA. The collaboration between institutions started in 2010 in IRIS consortium, continued in Erasmus intensive programme “Works in Progress”. The mobility project NFM-NFM-24/13 contributed to the further collaboration between partner institutions in Erasmus+, KA2 project application in March 2015. The mobility project included 1 administrative staff exchange and had impact on the administration organization development in the Students Affair Office at the Faculty of Health Care Jesenice. The mobility delivered outcomes for the home and hosting institution and as well for the individual mobility staff. After mobility completion the motivation for the international exchanges increased among administrative staff FHCJ and more applications for further mobility places were submitted. The knowledge and experiences of the students’ administration in higher education was exchanged and good practice was implemented.

Summary of bilateral results

The project partner Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences – HiOA actively participated by mobility programme realisation. Department of Nursing at HiOA designed and performed the exchange programme for the FHCJ administrative staff. The partnership strengthened bilateral relations and contributed to the development and realisation of the new mobility project NFM in 2014, which included staff exchange and as well students exchange. The partnership in the mobility project NFM-NFM-24/13 contributed to stronger collaboration of FHCJ in the IRIS consortium, which is leading by the HiOA, and designing the applications for the joint research and developmental project on e-learning.
