Summary of project results

The aim of the project was to empower women living in safe houses with skills and knowledge about social enterprise and business development. During the 2 years of the project several workshops for women in safe houses took place. The project promoter also offered them individual support and mentorship. During the implementation of the project it become clear that the women in safe houses need constant support to develop their skills so the promoter decided to develop the skills of the managers of safe houses as well - to set up a platform where women would be able to work and realize their ideas. The project faced several difficulties so the outcome were lower than expected. The main achievement of the project should be the employment of 10 women who are living (or have lived) in safe houses but the project promoter failed to achieve this mission. Due to this, some funds were deducted from the budget.

Summary of bilateral results

The funds provided contributed to the strengthening of the relations between project promoter and bilateral partner. The involvement of the partner was smaller then foreseen in the project application but it still had an impact on the implementation. The partner shared EXIT IT system and provided technical support. The system is still active, but did not get as much users as planned. Most of women were no really familiar with on-line tools and are really afraid of their safety so they are not so keen on putting to much info on line.
