Description

The project proposes the development of a standardized integrated social services program for the mentioned target group. In Romania, there were 1499 asylum requests in 2013. Access to social services of this group is hampered by deficiencies on monitoring cases, centralization of data, using appropriate tools, legislative stiffness, communication barriers. In particular, access to social counseling services, professional integration and educational services are defective. Hence the need of the project, which aims to ensure adequate access, according to specific features of the group and non-discriminative to quality social services, in correlation with the results of the NGO Fund for 150 beneficiaries, focusing on double vulnerability categories (institutionalized children, single mothers, elderly, people with disabilities, resettled refugees). Partnership with IGI and DGASMB guarantees a successful approach and appropriate quality standards. The overall project goal is to improve access to social services and basic quality for 150 vulnerable migrants from Romania. Beneficiaries of the project are: 150 Vulnerable immigrants, people who obtained a form of protection in Romania or asylum seekers.
