Description

Main Objective of the project is to lower the energy consumption and production of CO2 by increasing the energy effectiveness of the Centrum Kompleksowej Rehablitacji buildings through the partial thermal modification of the existing XIX century houses and implementation of modern and ecological energy sources for producing electricity local. Existing buildings are very demanding in terms of energy consumption for the central heating and domestic hot water production. It also uses a lot of electrical energy for the purpose of ventilation and air condition and lightning. Proposed project is designed to lower all the above mentioned parameters. It is assumed that due to proposed modernisation the gross use of energy consumption will be lowered from 4.219.8869kWh annually to .524.064,2 kWh annually that is by 16,5 %. The CO2 production will decrease from 1.659,84 to 1.123,18 MgCO2 annually The expected results will be obtained by the following: 1. Thermal modernisation of the external walls; 2. Thermal improvement of the isolation of the attics and roofs; 3. Installation of better energy coefficient windows and frames; 4. Exchange of old radiators for modern convectors with the lower heat capacity and improved circulation of the hot air; 5. Installation of the photovoltaic panels producing 160 kW total electrical energy; 6. Installation of the heath pumps for producing locally hot water; 7 Exchange of the interior and exterior lightning’s and fixtures for LED; 8 Installation of a central computers - BMS - for better controlling energy consumption. Benefits from the above mentioned project will go to Centrum Komplkesowej Rehabilitacjio Sp. z o.o., local community and patients treated in the hospital. Projects material scope has been extended, additional works have been co-financed under NFM

Summary of project results

Main objective of the project was to lower the energy consumption and production of CO2 by increasing the energy effectiveness of the Centrum Kompleksowej Rehabilitacji building through the partial thermal modification of the existing XIX century building and implementation of modern and ecological energy sources for producing electricity. Existing building was very demanding in terms of energy consumption for the central heating and domestic hot water production. It also used a lot of electrical energy for the purpose of ventilation and air condition and lighting. Within the project over 1,3 thousand of m2 of partition were insulated, 133 windows were replaced. Heating installations and ventilation were modernized, 2 heat pumps, photovoltaic cells, power management system and automation system were installed. Interior lighting was exchanged for ecological one. Investment allowed to reduce CO2 emission (667 Mg/year) and increase energy production from RES (263 MWh/year). Benefits from the above mentioned project went to Centrum Kompleksowej Rehabilitacji Sp. z o.o., local community and patients treated in the hospital. Projects material scope has been extended, additional works have been co-financed under NFM
