Description

Three buildings will undergo the process of thermal modernization: a District Family Assistance Center, a Special School and a Secondary School. The main problems to be addressed by the project are low energy efficiency and high heat loss in each of the buildings. These issues contribute in turn to a high cost of heating and high emissions of CO2 into the atmosphere, which will be reduced by more than half thanks to the project. The main purpose of the project is to improve the energy efficiency in these buildings, which will contribute to the reduction of air pollution as well. This will be done by adding to the number of buildings subject thermal modernization, and increasing the number of modernized heat sources. Moreover, thanks to the implementation of the project the emission of CO2 will be reduced by 333,99 Mg/year, while students will receive their instruction in better environmental conditions. Users of the District Family Assistance Center, the Special School and the Secondary School will all benefit from the project.

Summary of project results

Three buildings underwent the process of thermal modernization: a District Family Assistance Center, a Special School and a Secondary School. The main problems that have been addressed by the project were low energy efficiency and high heat loss in each of the buildings. These issues contributed in turn to a high cost of heating and high emissions of CO2 into the atmosphere, which was reduced by more than half thanks to the project. Within the project over 7,4 thousands of m2 of partition were insulated, old windows and doors were replaced. Interior installations were modernized, installed were ecological boilers and 3 power management systems. Investment allowed to reduce CO2 emission (335 Mg/year). Students can learn in better (also in environmental aspect) conditions. Users of the District Family Assistance Center, the Special School and the Secondary School all benefit from the project.
