Description
The objective of the project is the improvement of energy efficiency in two buildings belonging to the Świerzno Commune - a kindergarten and a primary and secondary school. This will be measured by reduction of greenhouse gases emission and air pollution. The project will deliver the following results: Reduction of CO2 emission to the level of 497,48 Mg CO2/year. The entity which is implementing the project is Świerzno Commune, and the main beneficiaries from the project, in addition to the environment, are the residents of the Świerzno Commune, pupils and children from kindergarten, teachers and school employees.
Summary of project results
Projects implementation has contributed to improving of energy and economic efficiency in the 2 buildings in Świerzno Municipality - kindergarten and a school building. Within the project 4 interior installations have been modernised, over 5,3 thousands of m2 of partition were insulated. In buildings mounted were power management systems and auxiliary power devices have been replaced with energy efficient. Installed were also 3 efficient boilers. Investment allowed to reduce CO2 emission (516 Mg/year). The Beneficiary emphasized that thanks to projects not only energy efficiency in buildings has been improved but also educational conditions for children are enhanced. Moreover, investment allowe to reduce greenhouse gases emission so it has positive impact on environment.
