Description

The project is implemented in order to satisfy the collective needs of the local community and to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings and proper care of the environment. The main objective of the project is saving energy and promoting the use of renewable energy sources. The project will contribute to the achievement of the following: conducting thermo-modernisation of 4 buildings, replacement of the heat source in 3 buildings, 496 RES installations (496 photovoltaic cells + 3 heat pumps ) with a total capacity of 282.2 kW. The project will significantly improve the quality and working conditions in the 4 buildings, as well as the quality of educational services and customer service in the office of the municipality. The project will mainly benefit the children and young people using the school buildings, the clients served by the local government, as well benefiting the local population and the environment in general due to reduced emissions of air pollutants and greenhouse gases.

Summary of project results

The project was necessary to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings and to provide a proper care of the environment. Thermomodernisational works covered 4 public utility buildings (3 schools and municipality office). Within the project almost 7 thousands of m2 of partition were insulated, old windows and doors were replaced (over 350). Underfloor heating was made. Installed were 8 heat pumps, 3 biomass boilers and 776 photovoltaic cells. Investment allowed to reduce CO2 emission (1283 Mg/year), and to increase energy production from RES (526 MWh/year). The project has significantly improve the quality and working conditions in all buildings, as well as the quality of educational services and customer service in the office of the municipality. The project mainly benefit children and young people using the school buildings and the clients of the local government, as well local population and environment in general - thanks to reduced emissions of air pollutants and greenhouse gases.
