Description

The project is needed to reduce environmental pollution and to reduce the running and maintenance of buildings. The overall objectives of the project are improved energy efficiency in buildings and increased renewable energy production. The implementation of the project contributes to reduce emissions of CO2 and increase production of renewable energy. The objectives of the project will achieved through: i) plumbing modernisation; ii) central heating modernisation; iii) solar thermal collector installation; iv) thermal insulation in buildings; v) lighting replacement to low-energy, vi) and energy management system installation. The implementation of the project will benefit the Regional Hospital in Kolobrzeg (reduce costs of running and maintaining buildings), patients and inhabitants (better conditions of the buildings), the environment (reducing or minimization of emissions of CO2 and increased production of renewable energy).

Summary of project results

The project was needed to reduce environmental pollution and maintenance costs of building. Thermomodernisational works covered hospital building, within the project over 19,4 thousands of m2 of partition were insulated, windows and doors were replaced. Modernised were central heating and interior installations. Power management system and 200 solar collectors were installed and interior lighting was exchanged for ecological one. Investment allowed to reduce CO2 emission (4462 Mg/year) and to increase energy production from RES (287 MWh/year). The implementation of the project benefit the Regional Hospital in Kolobrzeg (reduce costs of running and maintaining buildings), patients and inhabitants (better living conditions), the environment (reducing emission of CO2 and increased production of renewable energy).
