Description
The administrative municipal building requires urgent renovation, focusing on thermo-modernization works. Due to the lack of any modernization in recent years the building is not adapted to current standards, mainly due to the use of obsolete technology dating from when it was built. The aim of the project is to protect the environment by reducing pollution to the atmosphere. The building that will be thermo-modernized is the seat of two public institutions, the Municipal Office and the County Office. Expected results and achievements of the project are: i) improving the energy efficiency of the building, ii) increased number of modernized public buildings, iii) reduced electricity consumption, iv) reduced cost for building maintenance, v) increased quality of services provided, vi) increased comfort for customers. The main activities implemented to achieve the aims of the project, are: roof insulation and the thermal insulation of external walls, replacement of windows and external doors, modernization of heating system The project will contribute to reducing polluting emissions and increasing the quality of services provided.
Summary of project results
As building required urgent renovation and due to the lack of any modernization in recent years project concerned thermo-modernization was necessary to conduct. Thermomodernisational works covered one public utility building (seat of two public institutions: the Municipal Office and the County Office). Within the project 1 interior installation has been modernised. Investment allowed to reduce CO2 emission (641 Mg/year). The Beneficiary emphasized that thanks to projects implementation Municipality gained crucial experience in thermomodernisation implementation. Project has contributed to protection of the environment by reducing pollution to the atmosphere and helped to increase the quality of provided services.
