Description

The building of Bystrzyckie Centrum Zdrowia is about 200 years old, and has a very old and dysfunctional heating system which consumes approx.150 kg of coal per day. The system is expensive and environmentally harmful. This project is needed to change heating and energy systems to save money and reduce the negative impact on ecosystems. The objective of our project is to lower the level of CO2 emissions into the air, to keep the air clean, and to save energy for sustainable development. The project expect to achieve the following: a reduction of emissions of CO2 with 2251,83 Mg per year, and a production of bioenergy at 0,15 Mwh per year. An ecological solution will be used during the modernization works. New gas stoves, with heating and hot water, will be installed, a new ventilation system will be installed, and a thermal insulation will be provided. The project will bring benefits to the Bystrzyckie Centrum Zdrowia, the Bystrzyca Kłodzka Community and local society in general.

Summary of project results

The building of Bystrzyckie Health Centre is about 200 years old, and has had a very old and disfunctional heating system which consumed approx.150 kg of coal per day. The system was expensive and environmentally harmful. This project was needed to change heating and energy systems to save money and reduce the negative impact on ecosystems. The objective of project was to lower the level of CO2 emissions into the air, to keep the air clean, and to save energy for sustainable development. Thermomodernisational works covered 2 health centre buildings. Within the project over 5,2 thousands of m2 of partition were insulated, 270 windows and doors were replaced. IInterior installations (including ventilation) were modernised such as heating system. 5 ecological boilers (gas) have been installed and interior lighting was exchanged for ecological one. Investment allowed to reduce CO2 emission (2157 Mg/year) and increase production from RES (433 MWh/year). The project brought benefits to the Bystrzyckie Health Centre, the Bystrzyca Kłodzka Community and local society in general.
