Description

The reason for the project is the pursuit of the company DALKIA Poznań ZEC S.A. to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, nitric oxide and dust in the atmosphere. This will be achieved through the construction of gas-steam power generating source with a gas and steam turbine and a waste heat boiler (with a capacity of 60 MWe). The main objective of the project is to reduce emissions of air pollutants - carbon dioxide in particular, but also sulfur dioxide, nitric oxide and dust, generated by DALKIA Poznań. DALKIA Poznań intends to reduce CO2 emissions by 154 891 Mg/per year, and to reduce emissions of other air pollutants (sulfur dioxide, nitric oxide and dust). In order to solve the problem of pollution and emission, DALKIA plans to build a gas-steam power generating source, which will replace the production of electricity and heat from coal sources. The investment will be beneficial for the environment, the company, residents of the surrounding area, and for the national economy.
