Description

The effective eco-education of youth demands engagement, which can be triggered by using simulation games. These tools still aren’t widely used by Polish libraries and NGOs. This project will introduce educational tools to promote the biodiversity, economic value of ecosystems and climate change issues among libraries and NGOs. The project is implemented in partnership with two big NGOs that work with libraries (FRSI) and ecological NGOs (FER) and is expected to strengthen the educational capacity of the target groups. Greater involvement of end beneficiaries will be the final output. Seven four-days workshops in seven big Polish cities will be organized, with a focus on how to use the games in educational activities. A publication and a film will be prepared to share the experience and involve others. Libraries and NGO’s employees will be direct beneficiaries. The final users group – end beneficiaries will be young people involved in the activities.
