Description

This project is needed because of the the low level of social awareness of the meaning and importance of biodiversity, particularly in relation to climate change and the balanced development aspect. This purpose of this project is to create an education and tourist infrastructure which can activate local society in the area of nature protection and local biodiversity and, at the same time, canalise tourism to areas with lower sensitivity to tourist pressure. This will lead to an increase in social awareness of biodiversity, which will help make this problem a closer concern for 5000 people a year. This will be achieved by building the educational and tourist infrastructure and through a project promoting campaign. The project will take place in in Natura 2000 areas. The project will be realised for the local society, as well as for travellers and tourists.
